Our Clinic
NEMESOS Nephrology Clinic is an autonomous nephrology day care clinic that has the ability to provide specialized treatments exclusively tailored to the needs of patients with kidney related problems, in contrast to a general hospital/clinic designed to meet the general needs of all patients.
The clinic consist of the outpatient department which has 3 Consultation / examination rooms where patients can see one of our specialist Nephrologist; a hemodialysis ward with 21 dialysis stations; a nephrology day-care room with two beds; and a hemodialysis room for individuals infected with communicable diseases.
The clinic is equipped with the most modern equipment in dialysis systems, and significant attention has been given to the hemodialysis room, which offers: comfortable spaces for our patients, with adjustable electric beds; electrically adjustable ergonomic chairs crafted in Germany; a personal 19” TV with connection to several channels and the ability to stream content from the patient's mobile phone (via chromecast) for any desired movie or TV show.
The design of the clinic takes into consideration all relevant international standards, with special emphasis on: proper-functional internal layout and the correlation between different sections of the clinic; optimal thermal and sound insulation; energy production from renewable energy sources (photovoltaics); as well as the use of ecological-recyclable materials and materials with positive thermal performance, resulting in the building being in energy class A, achieving the minimum possible environmental impact.
Significant notability has been given to accessibility principles, and for this reason, the clinic has been entirely built on the ground floor, a solution that offers uninterrupted wheelchair access to all sections of the clinic. Easily accessible parking spaces, restrooms for visitors and patients, as well as showers, are available.
Lastly, all modern principles and systems of passive and active fire protection have been carefully studied and implemented in collaboration with a specialized fire engineer.
Dressing rooms with personal storage spaces are available for our patients. For their companions, there is a comfortable and specially arranged waiting area with a television.
The clinic is situated in a semi-urban landscape on the Limassol-Agros Road, between Agia Fyla and Palodia. Its location allows patients to visit from both the city of Limassol and the surrounding villages. Additionally, its proximity to the highway allows easy and fast access for patients from other areas. The clinic provides parking spaces conveniently situated near our entry.
